Is Amuheat suitable to heat an entire home?
Amuheat electric and hydronic heating systems is well suited as a primary heating system for most homes. And the big advantage with Amuheat is that you can control the temperature in each room or zone separately. Amuheat high quality electric floor heating can be installed under just about all types of floor coverings, and Amuheat energy efficient hydronic heating can be incorporated into new floors, trench panel heaters and wall panel heaters alike.
Is Amuheat expensive to maintain?
Amuheat electric floor heating systems require no ongoing maintenance, and offers a long expected lifetime of operation. Amuheat hydronic heating systems require inexpensive scheduled servicing to heat sources, and chemical treatment of heated water.
Who can install Amuheat?
We offer professional installation support through our contracting divisions, Amuheat Projects & Amuheat Hydronic Projects, across Sydney & Melbourne. At this time direct hydronic installation support is limited to New South Wales only.
Amuheat installation support is also available through a network of independent installation contractors who have partnered with Amuheat.
Can Amuheat be installed onto an existing floor?
Yes. Amuheat renovation friendly floor heating systems can be installed on an existing floor when you change your floor covering. Amuheat electric floorheat only requires an additional build-up height of +/- 3 mm, and our thinnest renovation hydronic system requires an additional floor build-up height if +/30 mm.
