Edward St, Woollhara

Bureau SRH’s alterations and additions to the 1970’s amalgamation of two existing Federation Queen Anne houses brings simplification of space and an element of surprise to the inner Sydney suburb of Woollahra.

The works saw an upgrade to the existing cottages and a rationalization of the previously renovated living spaces beyond. The brief was clear, a modern dwelling to house the family of 5 along with their eclectic art collection.

Amuheat’s contribution to the two houses successfully repurposed as one includes a gas based hydronic floor heating system installed beneath the timber flooring to the living spaces and bathroom.
