// FEATURED PROJECT
Evans Street, Bronte
HIGHLIGHTED PRODUCT: Hydronic Slab
This exquisite home is arguably one of Bronte’s finest properties, an inspired creation by Mary Ellen Hudson architects. The home is unparalleled in design and craftsmanship. Built from formed concrete, glass, copper and wood, the house has a soothing, neutral palette with interior spaces blending easily with the outdoors.
Working with City Renovations, Amuheat’s contribution to the sustainable design of the home is a combined solar hot water and hydronic heating solution. With solar acting as the primary heat source during winter, comfort heat is radiated into spaces from hydronic heated concrete floors and designer hydronic radiator panels to rooms with timber flooring.
This luxurious architectural home won the 2014 Waverley Design Award. The judging panel included two external judges, Sam Crawford and Ian Stapleton, as well as the Mayor of Waverley, Cr Sally Betts, Cr Ingrid Strewe, Cr Angela Burrill and Council’s Director of Planning and Environmental Services, Peter Monks.
