Cable Strip Tile Floor Heating System

Amuheat' Cable Strip Floor Heating system is suited for installation on concrete or suspended timber floors (F/C boards) for use under most hard surfaces including ceramic tiles, slate, porcelain, limestone, marble, terracotta, hardwood, laminate, bamboo, vinyl & stone.

The unique 1mm thin heating cable pre-spaced on adhesive tape design, guarantees a gentle, even heat across the entire floor surface, with no cold spots and no screeds or cable embedment products required. This is important especially where floor levels cannot be raised.

Technical



Tile Floor HeaterApplication: Direct & background heating for installation over concrete or F/C sheet floors. The 1mm heating element is embedded in tile adhesive directly beneath most hard floor finishes including tile, floating and timber floors.
Cable Strip Construction: Pre-measured heating element mounted on self adhesive tape. The heating element terminates to 2.5m length cold leads at both ends of the cable strip.
Heating Element: 1mm Self regulating single heating conductor with full earth shield, double insulated with Tefzel.
Voltage: 240 Volt AC 
Output Power: From 130 to 160W/m²
Underfloor Heating ThermostatControl: Programmable room or floor sensing (or a combination of both) control
Safety: IEC60335 compliant and wired into an earthed power supply connected through a RCD circuit. Safe in wet areas.
Quality: DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 standards

Installation



Tile, Stone & Laminate Flooring
Cable Strip offers a reduced installation time with all the cable spacing measuring work and cold tail connections sealed and waterproof tested at the factory for you. After the subfloor has been prepared (cleaned and in some cases primed with a bonding agent), Cable Strip is stuck to the subfloor using the attached adhesive tape followed by the self adhesive fibreglass mesh. The flooring can be immediately installed.
