Fluoropolymer

poly(tetrafluoroethene) (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer, most well known by the DuPont brand name Teflon.

PTFE is a white solid at room temperature, with excellent dielectric properties, making it suitable for use as an insulator in cables. Combined with its high melting temperature of 327°C, this makes it a high-performance material of choice as an insulator for Amuheat's electric heating cables.

Maximum temperatures of Amuheat's electric heating cables:
- Cable Mat 40°C
- Laminate Panel 40°C
- Cable Strip 40°C
- Slab Heat Cable 80°C
